My son is 13 and this is his second season of riding. Last year he was a little freaked out by being on it. I took it slow and just cruised around town. This year he asked me why I drive so slow with him. I picked it up a little and he now loves the twisties and I hardly know he's back there...

I think some of what you saw with the throttle is that he's on a dual sport. I'm sure the Multistrata is a fine motorcycle but it's far from a race bike. Very impressive riding though! Way faster than I could ride it with my FZ! :spank:

I know several policemen and have posed this question to them. They all have said 10mph will get you pulled over, and how you react is really the decider if you get a ticket or not. So be nice if you get pulled over, apologize to the officer and wish him a good day.
