The only "Official" Yamaha seat I know of is the comfort seat and it's definately not worth $400+. Now if we were talking Bagster's or Corbin's you'd have my attention.

I took a look at the page he linked and those technically aren't the stock signals. The kit comes with the signals, there are 2 options the stock style and a mini style. Edit: i'm retarded, they're made for a stock signal or after market signal. signals' not included

Change is good, but choices are better. It's how products evolve. I may not like everything about the FZ6r right off the bat but it's a step in the right direction from a business standpoint. Plus it's the first model. Yamaha is going to listen to the reaction they get from the customer base...

Speaking from experience as this is my first bike, it's OK for a first timer. If I were to do it again I would have gotten something smaller for learning on and then bought one of these once I had gotten some experience. I'm a pretty "responsible" person and don't like to take very many risks...

I'm thinking about doing the integrated tail as well. I've seen them here before on other bikes. but if I do it it'll still have the normal directionals so I think that would cover the inspection issue. not sure though.

The clutch is kinda touchy but you will get used to that. I will tell you that it breaks in over time as well. for the first 500 miles or so this clutch was a BIOTCH!!! it was either engaged or not, there was an almost non-existent sweet spot, it has gotten far better since I put another 1k...

Is it possible to just make the pod lights the flashers and get rid of those hideous things on the stalks? I want to do something different with them but I still want it visible. aka not those flush mount things that you can only see at night.
