hey all, after installing frame sliders, can anyone tell me what the torque spec for the two engine support bolts is? just want to make sure i got this correctly tightened. i know the manual lists torque specs for most everything you can remove or replace, but i cant find specs for these...

yep, after two months of use, i would have to say they are a smart purchase. but...mostly for looks? i honestly cant say they make a discernable difference in what they do. which is disengaging the clutch, and applying the brake. really. now, rizoma rear sets on the other hand.....

a note on the pureone pl14610- i bought a few online, and though the photos show it to be a blue color, its been modified to a deep gold color, like the inside of a butternut squash, and better yet (as if that color choice is not good enough already!) they are now fully covered in a sand paper...

odd, but i find the puig aftermarket (dark smoke) i put on my 07 is thicker and of better quality plastic than the stock. the stock screen scratched up easily, even when using a soft cloth and plastic cleaner for keeping it clean. i cant imagine anything being as cheap and flimsy as the...

i dig the dark smoke on mine. the install was, to say the least, brainless, and as i am not one to tuck in or use a camera, the dark color was the only choice for me. the decrease in wind noise is minor, i got the slightly taller racing model.

at bonemans fine suggestion, i went with these: they even feel slippery to the touch. i think they are more than just plastic, with some sort of silicone mixed in or something to that nature. motovation.

great question. i too would like to know, as my only other bike is also a shaft drive. i am sure it depends on riding conditions (dry, dusty, wet etc) but lets hope someone has a good guideline to follow they can post up!
