The FZ8 will still be a budget bike. Don't expect R6 suspension or radial brakes ... In Raw lines it will be +- the same as the FZ6 with upsd forks, maybe adjustable preload. They have to compete against the Z750 ... they can't do that if the bike is 2000 dollars/euro's more expensive.

Stock on my euro 2004 FZ6-n as well.

I have the L version. Usefull to set up te bike for road or track ( higher = more nervous steering ). But it's not a quick fix, the nut's don't have easy acces. I would go for the L again if I could. And you won't regret upgrading to an Ohlins, it's so much better then the stock...

The "low" price is due to the fact that it's not fully adjustable. As the stock shock isn't really a masterpiece, I gues this wil be an improvement for sure :thumbup:.

Fitting brake lines is not hard at all. Just take time your time, don't spill the fluid on painted parts and bleed the brakes good. It's pretty much bold on.

Kneedown is possible with a 100% stock fz6, no problem. Seeing that you wore down your peg feelers on the left, with the correct body position you should be knee scraping with no problems. If your serious about track day's, get a rear set (valtermoto are cheap and good ) and remove side and...
