For sure the Powers are overkill for most riders. And if milage is your concern you shouldn't buy a sport tire. For 99% of street riding the Roads are perfect. Just depends on you riding style. On track on some harder day's on the street I scrape my bootsliders on the tarmac, with rearsets...

That is one serious setup you've got there. Beringer is serious stuff. The tolerances these guys use is superb! I was looking @ the calipers as well, but there just to expensive. Why didn't you go with a Beringer MC as well? Not that the RCS is a bad one :thumbup:.

Pilot power = Sport = More grip, Less milage. Pilot road = Touring = Less grip, More milage.

Hold the bike upright, no center or side stand. The bike should be on a flat surface ... garage for example.

See Jemery Clarkson's vision about american cars :D. He has a good point on the build quality. But you can buy a car from every continent you wish, and still have a ****pile cager ... some cars are better then others. I wouldn't mind driving a corvette ... if I could afford the taxes...

That syringe methode isn't realy the best in my opinion. The old school bleed technique is still the best. It takes time, but if you ain't running a bike shop. Why hurry. The jar with brake fluid is a good thing to do :thumbup: when bleeding. As far as fluid. DOT 4, DOT 5.1 and...

Thanks man. Ohlins has 8.0 and 8.5 springs. I am 85-90kg ... which is about 180-190 LBS. The ohlins dude installed everything.

Ohlins front springs for the FZ6 in perfect condition. Used only 4 months. I sell them cause I have a Andreani fork kit ..... I live in Belgium, shipping to europe is not to expensive ... but outside EU will be a bit to much maybe.

Ah ok, I read "6.Front Springs Ohlins- with Oils Ohlins" in the post ... But any cartrigde kit is good. It's such an improvement over the stock fork, even with ohlins springs ... And yes the shock is worth it ... if you plan on keeping the FZ ...

The standard R6 calipers are 4pot monobloks ... The only thing you'll add is bling factor. Get a radial mc, MUCH cheaper. Lots more real world effect! I going to get adapters machined ( already have a 3D CAD drawing ) for the 4pot yam monobloks. So they fit pre 08 FZ6 forks ... And...

Not a real fluid speaker ... hahaha But an awsome bike! Our belgian pride Werner Daemen helped to develop the bike. They raced a year with these bikes before the launch to get all the electronics perfect. Mostely the traction control.

One fact is for sure, the car driver was an idiot ... a real real real real dumb ****er ... :rolleyes:
