The FZ6r uses 41mm forks, the FZ6 uses 43mm forks, you could try an upper clamp from a 03-04 R6, not 05's they came w/ 50mm forks, or the 06-07 R6s, same bike with different name,they both use 43mm forks, but stay away from the 06-13 R6r, it uses 50mm inverted forks.

Just had a flashback, when I did the R6r conversion there was no difference in axle diameter, just different wheel spacers, all the 04-12 FZ's & YZF's use the same wheels, bearings, axle diameter, and rotor bolt pattern, an R6r fork swap won't fix the problem. What's wrong with the Marchesini...

Measure the outside diameter of your FZ6 bearings, then measure the inside diameter of the Marchesini hub, see if they match, if they don't well..... get creative. My FZ6 has R6r suspension, brakes & swingarm, so if you feel like selling them......................

Don't bother with trying to fit an R6 high mount exhaust, it's not worth the time and labor, what you should do is go around to the local muffler shops and see who welds stainless steel and has the best price, I'm saying this cause here in my town the muffler guy sells louvered glsspacks for $25...

Sounds like you got some defective pads, I'm using EBC's HH sintered pads on the front with R6r radial brakes, I've had no trouble at all, they bite like oem pads, but with no brake fade, another option is EBC's Organic/Kevlar pads, they have better cold (initial) bite than the HH sintered pads...
