The sprockets are adjustable, Yamaha quit making them awhile back, so there hard to find, little buggers retail price was $250! from Yamaha... I'll post close up pics of the cams when I get home, I'm at work right now.

I bought the cams to put in the FZ6, I did't realize they moved power band to 7k rpm's until I looked at dyno graphs, I like the mid range power band of the FZ , that's why I'm selling them, the sprocket are made by Yamaha Electric Company (YEC), it's Yamaha's racing division in Shizuoka ...

Good advice, thanks. I'll start with the size 44, the jacket I want has full ce approved armor, and a winter liner, so that should take up some interior space, since it's still chilly outside I can put layers under it and test the fitment, comes with a 30 day trial period.

I've decided pamper myself this year and buy a leather riding jacket, I've noticed most leathers are 'chest' sized in 2 inch increments, while textiles and mesh are sized in 3-4 inch increments , just measured my chest today and it's 41 3/4 inches, problem is my shoulders are broad, but my torso...

More comfy? for me, yes! I quickly realized the FZ6's upright ergos and soft seat were not for me, so I switched to clip-ons, a firm seat, and high rear sets, now I can do all day road trips pain free, but to each there own.

True. true, a gentle degreaser if you got it, not everyone has access to it thou, don't use 'heavy duty' or 'commercial grade' it will eat paint, clear coats, wax, and you! :eek: Liquid dish detergent works wonders too...

They do quicken up a tad bit at speed, it's the R's clip-ons that numb it's left to right flick, at least you get ride the upgraded 5SL powerplant, with the R1's front suspension and brakes, 2005 was a good year for the R6.

The 'happy zone' starts at 8k rpm's, then comes online at 10k thru redline, wind it up!

WOW zombie thread :spank: Some info for you guys, yes you can Plasti-dip a helmet safely with out harm to it, it does NOT create a chemical bond like paint, it mechanical, it shrinks as it dries, when dry its flexible like a Nitrile glove, so it won't flake off like spray paint, if it comes...

2003 - 2013 Yamaha sportbike wheels are all the same ( R6, R6s, R6r, R1, FZ6, FZ6 S2, FZ6N, FZ1) just different colors, 1999 - 2002 wheels are different spec, you'll need custom spacers.
