When I got my bike, I thought oil as well but it was dirty fling from chain. Looked exactly like used oil and was on the left side of engine down to swing arm. Switched to a different lube (DuPont Teflon) and never had a problem again.

I just followed the images on the scorpion site when installing mine. Agreed that fit was easier with the s facing in with my brackets. Scorpio

I put blue rim tape on mine. I like the reflective feature of it at night, but honestly don't like the look in regular sunlight. ;( just too lazy to take it off.

Always wanted to know of a reset procedure as well. I started to adjust my #1 the first time I did a sync and always wondered if it could be set back to factory without a flow bench.

I have completely removed the Ais, flipped the reeds, and installed block-off plates. My tick didn't change at all. I had hoped that a reduction/stoppage of the ticking may have been an added benefit of the removal, but no luck.

Finally used my fiance's camera to take some photos of the bike. Sun wasn't cooperating, but at least it has all of the mods.

For anyone who lacks tools or is lazy, I just bought the left side bracketing flipped it to retain the right brake line off my fender. Not super symmetrical, but $6 or so by pick it up at shop. Left side original And the right side flipped version Scorpio

If be in for any ride. I'm in the burbs nowadays, but used to have my YZF in the city. Wisconsin is probably the closest place with a good amount of decent road.

Exactly how mine are. Three years and no problems, and I still smile every time they fire up. You'll notice besides the heat, one may get a little dirtier than the other as well. Scorpio
