We can rebuild her— we have the technology

Thanks Disco!! I used the ProTech kit that came with the little plastic applicator. The key was leaving the wheels on the bike and having a buddy turn the wheels VERY slowly while I held the plastic applicator in place with one hand and followed the strip very closely with my other thump...

Michelin Pilot Road 3 are here!!!!!!

I hate to admit this, but since my wreck back in November I haven't had the heart to REALLY get down and into a lean... I will say this, I opened the bike up ONCE yesterday afternoon on the interstate (I-110). The tires felt insanely good weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds. Also...

Yeah... There's only ONE bike store around here that installs tires... Roughly 450 for the tires, another 130 or so to mount then 120 for over night... Roughly 700... My butt hole still hurts... But my bike is happy... She told me so...

I got my set of Pilot Road 3s in yesterday and were installed the same day. I'll take pics in the morning of how they look. Today I put close to 350 miles on them just cruising around. I paid close to 700 dollars for them after 120 dollar overnight delivery charge. They feel VERY nice.

We can rebuild her— we have the technology

Well, as it turns out for radiator cover, according to EvoTech the UK radiator has the same part number throughout those years, however here in the US we have had a few different part numbers from 04-09. So somewhere the mounting points shifted a half of inch. However the seller says he will...

We can rebuild her— we have the technology

Well, ran into my first problem... I'm at the point of reassembling everything and I went to install the radiator cover... It doesn't fit... As you can see, the mounting tabs are too far in, and the whole unit is a too big. I contacted the seller and he in turn has contacted the...

We can rebuild her— we have the technology

I think it has a lot to do with the accident... Mine the bike simply slid on its side at about 45 mph. I'd imagine that if it had something to catch on that it may have done some frame damage. However, after seeing how they DID safe my bike, I will ALWAYS have them. The situations they save the...

We can rebuild her— we have the technology

Frame Sliders replacement day! These things were a breeze. Bought a set of extended frame sliders off of Ebay. They look just like my old ones except longer and didn't have YZF in white on them. So, first I had to remove my old one: Grabbed the 16 mm socket, and unbolted both of them. As...
