    Track Tech Levers

Fitted a pair of Black Shorty levers a couple of weeks ago, £44.99 each from M and P, excellent! Good quality, superb level of finish, red lever type adjusters on both. Got Acerbis hand guards also and no clearance problems. Very glad I got them. Will try to stick some pics on tomorrow!

I filled my tires with Nitrogen

The Nitrogen won't leech out of the tyre as quick as the oxygen in air, also the tyre pressure will remain more constant as the tyre warms up while riding as the nitrogen doesn't expand as much as air when heated, that's why aviation and motor racing industries use it.

    Loud Pipes Debate...

I am running a MIVV exhaust with removeable baffles, baffles fitted it's as quiet as standard, out definitely not! I have a 30 mile commute to work covering fast dual carriageways, fast A roads and B roads and having ridden with and without baffles, I have less 'moments' regarding inattentive...

    MIVV exhaust

Not a massive amount, it feels like it's over-fuelling on a light throttle, it's ok with the throttle shut-off. I just have that slight burble/popping, probably have to get a PCIII to cure it!

    MIVV exhaust

Ridden it this week, neighbours not complaining and the missus says they're slightly quieter than when first fitted. I think I agree with her (not just for an easy life!), as I'm running it I think as they carbon-up it takes the edge off the sound, making it slightly mellower? Baffles staying...

    MIVV exhaust

I got the oval inox. It wasn't in stock and I ordered it over the easter holiday so it took a month in total to arrive but as I said, it is well worth the wait for the quality of fit and finish is superb.

    MIVV exhaust

Delighted, however they are maybe a tad too loud? I might have to put the baffles back in! I'll wait and see if I get pulled or not, or if the neighbours complain when I set off for work at 6.30am!!

    MIVV exhaust

Just fitted a Mivv stainless exhaust. Absolutely the best quality exhaust I've fitted. All brackets very heavy gauge metal, welding superb and nuts and bolts very good quality, all for £317 from B R Special tuning! Fitted in one hour from start to finish! Baffles removed the sound is awesome...

dirty water from other cars on helmet visor SOLUTION!

The problem with Rain-X is that it attacks the plastic of your visor at a chemical level, embrittling the visor over time. Eventually the impact resistance of your visor will be compromised which will allow the visor to shatter rather than stop stones and road debris, etc. I use a basic lens...

    tank pads

Just bought and fitted a Motografix 3D gel tank pad. Very good quality printing, guaranteed not to fade as printing is under a clear gel pad type thing! Very good adhesive comes in 4 sections in total so you could not fit elements if you so desired, I suppose. A bit pricey at £20 but seemingly a...

    Goodbye Fazer, Hello GS

I've just traded in my Rockster for a FZ6! Handling too vague and yes still some torque reaction, not from shaft but from engine itself, also bits are just too damned expensive for Bee-em's whether their aftermarket or service items even from specialists like Motorworks. Nice bikes but Japs are...
