I've had mine for 2.5 years and have 27,500 on it. I'm on my 6th rear tire and my 3rd front tire. I've had 4 flat tires on the rear, 3 from nails and one from a cut in the tire. My last 200 miles (commuting, although with some nice curves) I got 53 mpg.
