    In town RPM's and gears?

i completely agree with that. i notice the bike runs well at higher revs in a lower gear, but the stock cans just don't sound that great running so high. i end up shifting up to 4th or 5th just to bring the revs and therefore exhaust volume down. just out of curiosity, what are you referring to...

    Drag strip

i'm thinking about taking the bike out to a drag strip to see how it runs before changing my exhaust and tires. i'll take it back after the change, and compare the results to see what performance changes occurred (if any). does anyone have any tips on how to get the most out of a trip to the...

2 questions about grips and sliders

thanks to everyone for all of the help! i got the grips off tonight without an issue. i used a small flat head screwdriver and a bit of wd-40; they came off pretty easily. i'll post pics tomorrow after everything dries and i get the bar ends back on.

2 questions about grips and sliders

i don't have a problem using locktite, i just didn't know if it was an actual necessity. i'll pick some up tomorrow and be sure to apply it. thanks for the response! is cutting off the old grips really the only way? i was kinda hoping to keep all of my stock parts around. if it's the only way...

2 questions about grips and sliders

i did a quick search, and didn't find much on this (unless i just missed the right threads). question 1: how do you get the stock grips off so that new grips can be installed? question 2: is locktite necessary to keep frame sliders on? i've read about a lot of people using it, but didn't know...

    new front moldings :)

i ordered them through a local dealer. they were a little pricey, about $50 a piece, but the dealer has always been extremely good to me, so i'm willing to shell out a little extra to build/maintain a friendship. because of all my purchases through them, i'm getting a nice deal on 2bros pipes :)

    Wow

those guys are good, but a little crazy. i've often wondered, how do people in these types of videos not get caught by local law enforcement for driving that way?
