Sorry to go against the grain.. But I'd never listen to music while on my bike, that's what the car is for! I want to know as much about what is happening around me as I can. I don't wear earplugs, if it's that noisy I'll get a lid with less wind noise.

I've just picked up one of these in 'Smoke II' colours, highly recommended. The only thing that lets it down for me is the increased wind noise for me, giving it an 8/10. Otherwise it would be 9.5/10. Fantastic. But I had to pay £200 though :(

Just picked up an HJC FS10 after using an AC10 for ages. Loads better fit, lighter, really good value for the money (£200). I've had an Arai before that was £400, and I don't rate that a lot higher (HJC 8/10, Arai, 8.5/10 max). Plus, it has a cool integral sun visor that is easy to use, and...

They are a popular brand in the UK, see them quite a lot on e-bay too. They are a Scandinavian company I think, the guy who services my bike rates them highly for fit and finish. Best price I got for Titanium over here was £470.

I'd get worried if people were asking me to pull over too.. You get some right mentalists out there! I had a light out on my old SRAD once and got loads of waves. I didn't stop, I got home as I knew the light was out, and didn't want to stop because it was dusk and I needed to get home!

Aluminium - Cheapest is £269+delivery, prob get them for £280inc. Maybe less. I paid £360 for carbon delivered, had to sell my spare set of car wheels to fund the purchase! It might be worth sending me a PM if you need more details, to avoid hi-jacking this thread..

Do you guys get FZ1's over there, or Kawasaki Z1000's? If the larger engine VFR is in the equation, the bigger street bikes might need considering?

I picked an FZ over sportier bikes. I part-chopped a GSXR750 for one! Couldn't do the pampering around towns that it needed, where as the fun in fht eFZ can be had at all speeds. In terms of popularity, the Fazer name is well known, and I see a fair few faired ones, not that many nakeds...

I've got a carbon LeoVince on it's way :D:D and will then be looking at putting a tail tidy (FE for you Americans :)) on. What I can't decide is whether to fit small indicators or go for the standard ones with smoked lenses. Can anyone put pics on this thread to show their rear ends to help...

That was the old bike buddy - I bought it at auction as a non-stareter. The part ex price I got is about what I ended up spending, so not too dissapointed.
