I think so. I've come from GSXR's, and find it a bit buzzy. Part of that is because I can't really hear the exhaust though LOL, so fitting an aftermarket one should change the noises considerably.

Virtualy all cans we get over here are 'road' or 'race'. Road cans usually come with removable baffles, and are e-marked. My post might be misleading if you don't get Race in the US, but at the same time, I guess they could be imported?

Take the front wheels off, hang a hell of a lot of weight off the back and accelerate as hard as you can.. Possibly consider a larger turbo, or change the fuelling.

Has anyone had experience of an off with kevlar lined jeans? Bullet proof jackets are mate from kevlar, I'd expect them to fair better than regular denim?

Would the standard db rating of c.95 not be measured at the tips of the exhaust, at maximum volume? I don't tend to put my naked ear to the cans while riding at full chat, so would think the db in your ears with lid on would be significantly less? Maybe 75? Plus wind noise?

Yes it seems they are. The kevlar ones to me are sound, the denim has worn, but check out the kevlar lining, still intact.

I'm with you on the yes, but only becuase I wear them.. BUT, I also wear 'Draggin Jeans', which are lined with kevlar. Not as protective as something with armour, but a hell of a lot easier to wear and use daily. My commute is 4 miles, and I'm happy to wear them for that.

I know it sounds stupid but.. Have you checked the user manual? There could be something obvious in there. It could be all manner of things, but if it's not found, the dealer should arrange to sort something under warranty.
