One thing you could consider is LoJack, but it's pricey. Motorcycle Theft and Vehicle Theft Recovery from LoJack I know some people's alarm systems will send a text message to their cell phone if it goes off, but don't know what kind of systems they are or who makes them.

Sugerload is a blast. I did that once with the CFCR group (use to ride with them semi-regularly). But because of that, it's also heavily watched by the POPO. Next weekend, I was thinking of possibly taking a ride up to Breaker's in New Smyrna Beach, and doing the ride around the airport...

Our local riding group would do this. It's "taking one for the team"... one guy would get the ticket so the others wouldn't. I am definately not saying run from the cops... I'm just saying the guy with the cop behind him would pull over, but the other riders wouldn't stop unless a cop pulled...

I believe the recall was on 2005 models and earlier. I know with my 2006, the problem had been corrected.
