That wouldn't work in my case as the adjuster bolts are equal lengths. What I suspect is either the end plates or the internal adjusters are slightly different to eachother hence giving the wrong results. I'll have a closer look when I have a moment but for now the steel rule is the way to...

Yes it is only 2469 miles now, and that was after I rode it home 40 miles!

I wasn't being entirely accurate to the last mile or kilometer, but I'm now happy. Shame it does the exact opposite by default to what the country of sale has ie: I live in the UK and Miles are the standard, I could understand it if I lived in Frogland and saw KPH but I don't!!
