    Coolant Temperature Issue??

Your coolant temperature sensor (on the back of the cylinder head) could be faulty. Look in the Yamaha Service or Haynes manuals for the procedure to test it.

S2 Crank but no start. Low d09

I can't help you with the rest of this, but that sounds like one of the vacuum take-off tubes which you use to balance the throttle bodies. There should be four of them, one for each cylinder, coming back into the under-seat area with small plastic plugs in the ends. As you say, they're only...

S2 Crank but no start. Low d09

Honestly, I have no idea. OEM ones could still be faulty, but Aliexpress stuff is made to a budget...

S2 Crank but no start. Low d09

I don't know if you've seen this video, but this guy was having a problem with an intermittent misfire. He had already checked the coils and they had tested fine, but then he found that actually one was going bad:

    Urgent for UK Members

There are problems with some vehicles, eg people removing particulate filters from diesel engines which might give them more power, but which also puts a lot more pollution into the air. Also there's a certain group who run their car engines rich and put a spark plug into their exhausts to...

    Urgent for UK Members

Please share this urgently! I've just heard that the UK Government are planning on changing the emissions regulations on vehicles *including* bikes, so they cannot be modified such that their emissions are greater than what they were designed for. - Their own proposal, however, admits that...

S2 Gauge cluster housing replacement question..

IIRC the S2 cluster can just be unbolted. The S1 (round version) needed to be cut open as it was glued closed :(

    Indicator brackets

If it's an S2, you need the PLX 360 kit, the 351 was for the S1 model. Try checking out Bike Breakers.

    Red calves, literally.

I'm thinking that whoever created the bike wore protective gear and didn't ride it in 37 degree heat.

S2 Crank but no start. Low d09

The bike will store error codes, but that won't affect what happens *now*, it's just a record of what happened in the past.

You do you, but I just remember that sweat rash hurts less than gravel rash.

    08' FZ6-S2 I like a quiet exhaust:do they make a quiet slip-on that Breathes ?

Increasing the airflow on a fuel injected engine will just tend to make it run lean, because the ECU map is designed around the stock exhaust with catalytic converter and will keep delivering a set amount of fuel, although the FZ6 S2 compensates somewhat by having an O2 sensor in the exhaust...

S2 Crank but no start. Low d09

It's not. When testing for a fault, bug, whatever, always minimise your variables, otherwise you're still not going to be sure what the issue was. Change the easiest one and test. If the fault re-occurs, it's probably the other one that was the cause. If it doesn't, you've saved yourself...

    FZ6 S2 – Dash/cluster dies randomly,

What Motogiro mentions about the LCD connects to the circuit board reminds me of when I had a problem with the LCD flickering or fading, because it's an Induction Coupling, ie just two bits of conductive rubber pressed together. The only reason I didn't mention it is because you said the tacho...

    Need Help Crashed fz6 2007

A fork being a "little bit bent" is like "a little bit pregnant"! There's no way I would ride that without replacement. Get a copy of the Haynes or Yamaha service manuals, it's not difficult if you follow the procedure. Check the bearings and axle, I'd suspect either they or the wheel have...

    FZ6 S2 – Dash/cluster dies randomly,

I agree with Motogiro, if you were losing the main ground, the clock would reset. I would get a multimeter and take a closer look at the continuity from the ECU to the connector at the front left of the bike and then the wires from the connector to the instruments. Also look at the pins on the...

    08' FZ6 S2 I want easier clutch action

You want the MT07 clutch actuator arm. https://www.beginnerbiker.com/2019/09/fz6-mini-mod-fixing-heavy-clutch/ It makes the pull lighter and gives a longer friction zone.

    Need Help Crashed fz6 2007

When I got side-swiped on a roundabout (thankfully at very low speed), there was fluid under my bike that turned out to be from the cap popping off the coolant reservoir. Fortunately that was the only issue and I actually rode it another 70 or so miles without problems. If that radiator will...

    Need Help Speedometer problem

Look at the front left side of the fuel tank and you should see a bunch of wires going up to the instrument cluster. If your bike is faired, you'll need to take out the fairing inners (personally, I got rid of mine because they are entirely cosmetic and just get in the way when you want to do...

    Need Help Crashed fz6 2007

You mentioned that the radiator was "destroyed", so running it for more than a very short time would *not* be advisable! But first, take the doctor's advice and rest up.
