Did the BD mod 2 years ago...great mod! My bike is an 06, still running on the original battery and headlight bulbs. If I bought a newer, stock FZ6, this would be one of first mods I'd do to it.

As much as I appreciate the owner's honesty about the FZ6, I would be hesitant on purchasing it. Unless, of course, he's selling it for a very cheap price. My opinion would be to pass on it and wait for a better deal to come along. With the soft economy going on right now,there a quite a few...

I've almost always used premium and have noticed a power increase and improved gas mileage..about 30km/tank. I've also run a few tanks of regular and have found it to be quite doable in a pinch.

I've tried it..but I don't like it. Find I'm looking for metal filings when I do an oil change. Just can't get used to it. Just my 02. Plus, what good are my new levers if I don't use 'em!:D

300-320 km per tank. Cruising speed of 120-140 kph. Bars are flashing when I fill up.

Yes, red06. An 05 upper fairing is about $150 at the local dealer and about $90 plus shipping from ronayers.com. Thats in black tho... 06 red is $400 from the dealer and $300 from ronayers. FWIW.
