    Encouraging Word About Valve Adjustment:

Also, a majority of owners of the FZ6 don't ride their bikes enough to reach this service interval. I had mine done at 49000km's and every one of the exhaust valves needed to be shimmed. It's been a cheap bike to maintain though. My mechanic said that he rarely sees an FZ6 with 42000kms on it.

Bi-Xenon projector with angel eye installed

Here's a link to KT Auto Parts. Check out the KT-MT5 setup. It is offered with 1-H4 and 1-H7 as a purchase option, along with option to purchase LED eyebrows, extra headlight bulbs and demon eye. It comes standard with Angel eyes and the kit seems to be complete with nice compact projectors...

I need a glove recommendation please!

google motoport and check out his racing gloves. They are made of Kevlar and can be custom made to fit your hand. They aren't cheap but they are an excellent glove according to riders that have them.

    Replacement Windscreen: Givi vs. Yamaha

When I crouch in on my existing bike so my chest is on the tank I do note noise gets worse but the wind effect is lessened so I assume this is a similar effect without my laying down. :thumbup:You got it! I like the Givi slightly better than the OEM. You made a good choice! (altho the oem is...

    What car(s) do you have/drive?

I technically don't own a car but my company vehicle is an 08 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4. I'm the sole driver of it. My wife has a burgundy jelly bean...er... a 98 Ford Windstar Van I get to drive occasionally.

    Replacement Windscreen: Givi vs. Yamaha

I have both screens, currently. They both take the wind off your torso but the wind roars into your helmet at highway speeds. It's not a problem if you wear earplugs. In my opinion, the air coming over the Givi is smoother than the oem tall windscreen. Oem tall creates a rougher air flow over...

    Coocase/Shad

yes, the Coocase 48 does fit on the shad topcase rack. I bought the coocase 48(found a used one in great shape) and sold my Shad 37....just too small for all my work stuff. I think all topcases look goofy on our FZ6 so I might as well go with a BIG one! The coocase is lined, has a brake light...

Please help me pick a cold weather touring jacket

I have a Tourmaster Epic Jacket. It's a good, fully armoured waterproof jacket with a zip out liner. Great for cold weather. Check out the Olympia AST 2 jacket also. Having said that, heated gear is the best for below 0c riding.

Show us your FZ6 in Touring mode!

Rok straps....they are excellent. No hooks on them so they don't scratch. (loops instead ...made of strapping material) . Sorry for the super slow answer to your post.:shakehead:

4 on the clutch, 3 on the brake. Chinese knock off long levers on both clutch and brake.

    My key won't turn

"It's a dry silicone-based lubricant that, unlike any other lubricant, contains no oil, grease, wax, petroleum distillates or detergent, so it doesn't stain or stink. It stops squeaks, un-sticks just about anything, protects against rust, and is an exceptional water repellent." Quoted straight...

    Dry Ice Dents

I tried it several times on a dent on my tank but it didn't work. Apparently the dry ice idea doesn't work on tanks that are doubled walled...which I believe the FZ6 tank is.
