Rent a Valve Shim Kit 7.48mm, restock, return, send it again

Re: WTB - Valve Shim Kit 7.48mm, complete or partial Pretty common sense, but just make sure you cover up exposed internals to prevent dust and other foreign material from entering the motor  Easiest way I found was to put the valve cover back on and just tape over the open spark...

Rent a Valve Shim Kit 7.48mm, restock, return, send it again

Re: WTB - Valve Shim Kit 7.48mm, complete or partial Good idea, but I don't have any. This would be great if you knew a check is coming up to get the kit and not have to wait or take the chance that your shop has them. Somethings to consider. You may need more of a single size of shims...

Motorcycle, cell phone, GPS and me (google maps question)

I don't know the answer to that. I usually design the route on my tablet because its easier on the bigger screen, save the route, and transfer the route file to my phone to use on the road. Idk if there is a way to design a route on a desktop.

Motorcycle, cell phone, GPS and me (google maps question)

Thats a negative. I've tried figuring this out. Google maps for android is point A to point B - even if you design the route on your computer and open the link on your android device. Ive been use an app called copilot premium for the past year with great results. You can fully customize a...

    WTB - Hardtail MTB

Lol yeah the Milwaukee location is fairly close to me. I go every winter. And riding in the winter isn't bad so long as there isn't a ton of snow. Even a small amount of snow is easily rideable. If you're not riding very technical trails you'd be fine with the sluggish steering of a bigger...

    WTB - Hardtail MTB

650b is best of both worlds. One thing about the 650b though is that components specific to the 27.5 (fork, wheels, tires etc) are harder to find and often more expensive. Seems like the MTB community is really grabbing onto the 27.5 though so this problem will be gone soon. Not gonna go over...

    Roadrash sucks............Like really bad

Glad you're okay! Road rash blows, but it's better than what could a been! I'm, too, surprised by the amount of rash on your upper body. You know how fast you were going at the time of you're off?

    M22 Leelanau Peninsula/Traverse City

Those cruisers can be worse than cars when stuck behind!! Sounds like a great ride. I have heard a lot of good things about the riding up there. I would also like to hit the tunnel of trees!!
