Replacing the rear fluid on an 06 is kind of a pain due to where the reservoir is but not too bad. I took the chance when I did mine to replace the brake lines and pads as well, front and back. Figured might as well just do it since I'm getting dirty.

If you don't want to pull off the connectors you can also strip the wires a bit and run the jumper there. That is what I did. Just make sure whatever option you choose you tape it well. I will be installing my new kill switch as soon as I have a free weekend.

PR2's with the disclaimer that I am not an agressive rider and don't ride my tires to the edges. I ride year round rain or shine and took them through the dragon in the wet. Last set had over 22,000 miles on them and still had tread left. For commuting there isn't a better value tire, period.
