Try putting some upward pressure on the shifter while moving, then release pressure, engage clutch and try to downshift. Mine was doing this after very long fast rides every now and then. I recently had to tear my transmission apart to replace a bent shift fork after it started slipping out...

I like what you're shooting for there with the FZ6 and the pattern on the otherside. I think white might be too bright though. Maybe a charcoal grey or something I dunno, I'm not that great with color schemes :thumbup:

This was for the R6 fork conversion, not sure if it'd work the same way. The reason the R6 fork conversion needed shims is that the FZ6 tripple is a bit wider apart than the '03-04 R6. So, if '03-04 R6 calipers are direct bolt-ons to 07+ FZ6..than these shims should work for the '04-06 FZ6...

They should have left the undertail exhaust. It has inverted forks, that's nice, but it doesn't say if they're adjustable or not :confused: Rear shock looks like it's still just spring preload. All in all not sure why they replaced the FZ6 with this FZ8 except people are silly and think more cc...

First off.. Don't get mad for me suggesting it, but make sure it has clean gas :o I'm no expert but this is what I'd try to troubleshoot your issue.. A. When you turn the key on, with the kill switch set to run, Can you hear the fuelpump? Should be able to. If not Check the grounds...

Keep the oil changed, the chain lubed and within spec, fuel in the tank, at least 1 tire on the ground (most of the time), and the FZ will carry you to hell and back. :thumbup:

I've had 120/60 BT016's on my front for ~10kmiles, I can tell that there is a small difference in turn in speeds, but nothing amazing. The FZ already turns in pretty well to begin with. I have to use them because the 120/70 will rub the R6 fender with the r6 fork mod.

Yeah, the difference really is the FZ6 has a few more holes around the water jacket. I know the water jacket isn't leaking into the cylinders as there is no fluid in them. It isn't leaking into the oil either cause the oil has no water in it, nor vise versa. Only thing I can figure is pressure...
