I don't ride with pirates or squids. I like to ride early, as in before the pirates and squids wake up. The group riding style between sport riders and pirates is VERY different. For example, pirates, in a group, don't usually pass until there is room for everyone to pass. Read this as BORING...

Sorry to hear that. I'm in the opposite situation. I have a great riding year last year, but it looks like I might have to sit this year out due to personal issues. Hopefully that will change. I logged many, many miles as a group ride planner and leader last year.
