Not trying to be rude or a jerk but in Oklahoma You are not required to have any turn signals of any kind. only head lights, tail light, and brake light. Im fairly sure that turn signals and laws of the same kind are state mandated not a national law.
If i ever get my poor FZ back from the shop ( i was supposed to have it back today, but will b next week sometime). I will have to post a video or two, i guess its too late to make it anonymous:rolleyes:
I have to give the FZ credit it makes a sweet stunt bike, so easy to wheelie !
I have the Yamaha extended warranty, and as for how much i would have cost me had i not had the warranty. rough estimate is in the neighborhood of about $2k give or take a few hundred.
No got it worked on in Fort Smith, but i did go up and check out bill eddies new place that has to be the nicest and most bad a$$ dealership ive ever been in, he had 4 Fz6 on the floor.

Paint colors look good as well.
All in All i think you have one killer FZ
I was going to paint mine and decided against it for i was afraid it would be riddled with stone chips after a few hundred miles, i have decided to take the bike down and have the forks wrapped in vinyl. You may have seen the cars and trucks driving around that look like a rolling billboard...

do u know if the handlebars are FZ1 bars, because if so then you should have no clearance issues when positioned correctly, if they are a different brand or style then im not sure if you can move the lever enough to clear the fairing. as for the stock bars they have no clearance issues.
Well the bike is still in a million pieces as of yesterday, they are waiting on one part, which was being shipped from some way off warehouse. supposed to be here tues. bike should be back in my hands by wed. Hopefully but :don'tknow:
they decided to go ahead and replace first and second gear...
i have never owned nor rode a bike that didnt clunk from first to second or second to first, I know there is a technical explanation for the noise, but i also know that it has nothing to do with poor design or cheap quality. if that were the case then the hundreds of bikes i have rode were crappy.
i have had this thought before. I never really thought of putting it into practice, but given the right circumstances i think it could greatly reduce severity of some injuries. but thats all on paper and in hypothetical situations.
i would like to see it tested though. any volunteers...
