Alot of dealers wont mount tires that you didnt buy from them, due to liability issues.

Yeah they are def trying i have to give them that, my dad said when he was my age he had a KZ1000 that started knocking and the dealer replaced the crank and whole rotating assembly and it still knocked but never had a prob with it. I hope that after the rebuild that the knock goes away, but...

Ok so my dealer called in a Yamaha Technician to look at my bike. They have taken the entire engine apart, i went to see the progress and they had the entire engine lying on the work bench in pieces :eek: They have checked everything, Crank, rods, pistons, valves, all bearings, and wrist pins...

I never had any problems out of my stock BT's, they did take a little time to get up to temp but once they did they were stuck. The only time i have ever had the rear step out in the rain was riding around town, bc the roads have much more oil and fluids on them. I have Dunlop Qualifiers on...

well Im fed up now, i called yamaha at noon as i was told, yesterday they got my bike put together and were going to do heat tests and ride it this morning. when i called they said that when they started it it still had the same knock. they are keeping it there, tearing the bottom and topend...

Well its been about a month and a half, and they are finally done with with my bike, they had it back together this evaning, and will to some warm ups and test ride tomorrow, i get to pick it up a noon! Geeze this whole ordeal has had me pissed off:spank:

I think the FZ6 looks damn good now, but i like some of the concept photoshops ive seen, so either way i think the fazer will still be a kick A$$ ride

when i told my insurance company that deer caused my crash, they were the same way. no more questions, and my premium didnt increase either. btw next time im going to hold my line and hope the deer moves.

Ive had the same experience as everyone else, i can get the R6 out of the hole but it pulls harder up top. but i also think that the R6 is alittle on the loose side compared to my FZ im much more comfortable pushing the FZ hard than when i ride my buddys R6

Personally I strongly advise you dont ride it like u stole it straight out of the crate!! Yes the modern motors and other components are extremely well built and have tight tolerances, but as far as the engine goes. that is a lot of moving metal parts and they need to be broke in. You prob can...

My two bros came with stickers too. but i have seen some pics of other fz with the emblems riveted on. For the record i didnt put the stickers on my cans either! :thumbup:
