I had a Zumo then went for a Rider 2. I prefer the look of the Rider's 3-D display. My requirements are quite simple - punch in a postcode and go there. I've never used the bluetooth headset (can't hear it over my Devils lol). Not denying your observations about the Rider's menus, though...

Yes, my handguards do contact the fairing on full lock but the handguards are flexible so they a) bend to allow full contact and b) so don't damage the fairing. You're right, though, it's an important thing to check before fitting.
