I've not dropped my FZ yet (knock on wood) but I have dropped one or the other of my BMW's more than once, and it's almost always to the left while backing out or coming to a stop, from losing footing/foot going down into a depression. FZ is much easier to recover and save from this situation...

Every time I get on my FZ6 after a short hiatus or after a significant stretch of riding my BMW, I am reminded once again how much I really love this bike!!! I did a 430 mile ride on Sunday, just out collecting mural photos, and this little FZ darlin' is just so easy to ride!

I took the MSF course and passed, but it took me nearly 2 months to choose a bike and make the purchase. It took me a while to recover from the stress of taking the class (I was an old lady, remember, and had never ridden a bike in my life until then).

It's that time of year for riders to come out of hibernation and drivers to start getting used to sharing the road....so thanks for posting this reminder.
