    Rider history

A small fortune indeed. We all have that one vehicle that we wish we still had, however we do still have the memories and from personal experience, those experiences improve with age like a fine wine. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

    RIP Joep, our cat.

Martin, Your initial response was to think about the kids and you are spot on, however a little piece of us leaves us when we lose a family pet. I apologize for the pic, but 1/2 way around the world it is uncanny how similar living things can appear. All of our pets, mostly cats, were...

One thing I didn't expect about freeway riding...

They told me that I would feel comfortable after about 1000 miles of riding on the road ( I grew up on dirt bikes). But for me, it was more like 5,000 miles. after a while you will feel more comfortable with your surroundings and know when to alert a driver who may be thinking about occupying...

A TS seat I bought from another member who had sold his FZ6 and was moving into more of a cruiser I think. Previous to that I bought a factory comfort seat from ebay, but I didn't find it to be much of an improvement. My problem was I hated sliding around on the seat, especially under braking...

    Relay hanging down under tank

It looks like there is a custom fairing installed? I also suspect that the bracket and relay should be located in the left side of the factory fairing, so my guess is maybe there was not a mounting point or the OP decided not to put it back where it belongs, however it probably should not be...

    New owner in Charlotte!

:welcome: to the best Forum around! I have a couple of comments/questions. Obviously the bike has spent most of its life in storage. Do you know how or where it was stored? I'm guessing that corrosion/rust has something to do with the environment it was in. Yes, you are correct, you are...

Is This FZ6 Worth $500 OBO?

When I saw the rear tire, I suspected the former rider exhibited some squid-like tendencies. That must have been some wild ride to cause that much carnage. I seriously hope nobody was not hurt too badly. [emoji33] Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk

Arghhhh I'm down this evening , lost my guard on the cars

Thank you very much for posting your video. These incidents are invaluable teaching lessons and learning tools. I totally agree with VR's analysis of the situation and the decisions made, however things can appear differently when you're actually the one going through it. Very pleased to...

    Don't ride like you drive

 If my memory serves me correctly, you are taught quick stops in the MSF basic course from about 25 mph. While this is a great introduction to slowing rapidly. it is a controlled environment. In the real world you are usually traveling at a higher rate of speed and the road...

Video: Take care - be seen!

 I like it. This one and the recent one from Ireland, I think, are to the point without being too graphic for everyone to handle. Thanks

    Renthal Bars, S2 Forks, S2 mid-pipe, S1 Oil pan, +++ OEM stuff ->LOOK!

Regarding the mid-pipe, what can be hoped to be gained by the swap? Is there an incremental improvement in performance or sound? What has been your experience. Is there any reprogramming to be done with this install? Thanks, Ken
