    Picture Request (White FZ6)

Oh it does look good. I'm thinking of white like that but maybe blue on the wheels instead of white. Every time I see a Buell in that color scheme I drool.

    The new Street Fighter

Looks good! You have most of what I'm planning so its good to see what my bike will look like soon:D One question, what mounted here? It is under the fairing right now, maybe the stay mounted there? Do the FZ6s that came from Yamaha naked have a flat spot there too?

    Picture Request (White FZ6)

Welcome to the forum, and thanks! That does help actually. I will probably be going naked so I won't have the fairing anymore, but wasn't sure how white would look against the frame and engine since black contrasts it much more. I think it still looks good.

    Picture Request (White FZ6)

I have searched and found some white FZ6s, but all of them seem to be of the black frame/engine variety. I am looking for some pictures of white paint with a silver frame. I know it looks great with black but can't picture it in my head with silver. I know some of the naked ones came white...

Trying to coordinate group buy for FZS headlight from India

Anyone with this have a picture of the gauges (04-06 specifically) mounted in the little fairing instead of on the handlebar? This setup is very tempting to me, my fairing rattles from all the cracks and the tweaked fairing stay, very annoying. Why do you need to remove your clipons? The...

My FZ6 Got Some Balls Today!

All balls that is:D I actually bought the steering head bearings about a month and a half ago but just got around to installing them tonight. It was a slow night at work (I work as a tech at a Ford dealer) so I had plenty of tools to get the job done. That being said I had never changed...

Mod madness! New stuff on it's way Part 5!

Doesn't the 07+ rear subframe have the footpeg hangers bolted on, so you can easily remove them?

    FZ6 Headlights

The two bulbs are different, one is an H4 and the other is H7. It is made to only have the left beam on for low beams. You can search for the BD43 mod to wire both to be on for low.

    Mount Camcorder?

Try this. Never did it myself but looks to be the cheapest way to do it. HOWTO: Cheap Camera Handlebar Mount

    Pop Goes the Tire!

Well my rear tire has been about due for a replacement for a little while but I've been putting it off. Well today I was riding down the highway (not gonna lie, I was speeding a little, there was a new Camaro SS I was playing with) and all of a sudden my bike started fishtailing and swerving to...

    The fake Carbon debate

I say real or none. If you're on a budget and want carbon fiber bits make your own. I thought about making some engine covers since mine are scuffed but it would look strange on my silver engine/frame.

Hmmm whats a turn signal anyway?

I have flushmounts up front and have an integrated taillight in the rear. I rode it just this way for a little while but like everyone said, it really isn't bright enough. It also doesn't help that the turn signals on the taillight are right next to each other, with the taillight alone cagers...

    BMC vs K&N vs Original

I have a K&N, mostly because that is what my cars have so I already had the stuff to clean and re-red them.

how long reserve fuel can move FZ6

I've noticed that when I fill up as soon as it started blinking it takes about 3.5 gallons. Just yesterday it ran into reserve but I was running late for my night class so rode to class on reserve. Planned on filling up at the station by the school for the trip home. However my card doesn't...

    Another OSO2K Setback Plate installation

Looks great! Now you just need to powdercoat the rearsets themselves to match. I love my OSO2k plates, I haven't taken them off since I installed them, and I ride the bike daily.

    Stalling when coming to stop

Yeah I planned on doing it myself anyway. I never take it to the dealer for anything, I work at a Ford dealer and know how much dealers overcharge for stuff. The carbtune will pay for itself double, I have a plan brewing in the back of my mind to put ITBs on my GTi.

    Stalling when coming to stop

I'll check the TPS again just to make sure. The idle now that I have raised it goes 1280-1340-1380 and occasionally breaks to 1440. It never shows numbers in between those, only shows the 40 RPM increments. I am about 1100 miles into my oil change, I always use Rotella and have never had...

    Tar Snake Crash?

I haven't gone down because of them but I've come close. One particular incident comes to mind. There is a road I take to school almost every day, it goes from a 4 lane road to a stoplit intersection. At this point the left 2 lanes get a protected green to do a fun ~120* turn that goes up in...

Anyone Ride through a Drive Through?

I have taken my bike through drive-throughs in the past, usually the sensor picks it up. On a slightly related note, just today I was riding by a McDonalds and what do I see at the drive-through menu but a fat lady on a Hoveround! Aside from the fact that she probably shouldn't have been at...
