The poor mans winter mod list....

Here's a cheap one. I wanted to get more visibility for my taillight (and brake) so I picked up a pair of leds from a local auto store, drilled a couple holes under the license plate light and spliced them into my brake wiring. And +1 on the grip puppies!

Now this is a hotel room!

I've been there a couple times now and I have never felt in danger of any kind. Yes, like most other emerging markets, there is dodgyness in cab drivers, beggars and the like, but you figure it out. It did rain a couple evenings, which is why the pics aren't full of smog! Egypt Rules: Rule...

Now this is a hotel room!

Unfortunately, this trip was all business. Now, when I was there last Feb the story was different... I think I averaged 5am for turning in. And last time I did get to check out the pyramids up close... And ride a camel...

heated grips to shut off when the key is turned off?

London: Up for a Pint Next Saturday??

Hey gang, I'll be in London this coming week for work, but my flight out on Saturday is not until about 4pm with the day free. Any FZ6ers up for grabbing a pint/lunch with a fellow FZ6er from across the pond? I'll be staying in the Kensington area.

Saw a man die this morning. RIP.

Thought I'd follow up on this... I sent a card to the man's wife expressing my condolences and to tell them that it did not appear that he experienced any suffering in the ordeal. The day after I mailed it I received a call from his daughter to thank me for letting them know. They were...

Heated Grips for Less than $50

Agreed that it would probably do the same thing, though the switch is a lot bigger. Follow-up on the original post solution: they've been on the bike for over a year and about 7000 miles and are still working perfectly! Cold, cool, rain, no problems.

    Ordered an FZ1 Headlight

Great work! I may need to investigate the upper stay connection idea this winter and lose the fork clamps...
