VHT makes a header paint rated to 2000 deg. It's called VHT Header - Ceramic Coating or similar. Works pretty good as long as you cure it properly. Comes in a range of colours.

Biggest problem is fuel range. It's only got a 17 litre tank (3.75 gal) and the range is only about 125 mile. So if I go on a group ride I'm always stopping for fuel.

I've owned 2 YZF600Rs, a GSXR750 (K4) and now the Sv1000. I can guarantee everybody I'm an inline 4 guy. V-Twins sound great but I don't like their power delivery. As soon as I get an FZ i'll post my comparitive views.
