Would you give up riding and your relationship for your job?

Can't help you much with your predicament, but on the sidenote if your towing a trailer for equipments maybe you can also tow an FZ6. Plenty of people travelling around the world for months at a time and come back home to their loved ones, take our brothers at arms as an example. Plenty of them...

    FZ1 or FZ8, which one?

So I noticed the other day that the Yamaha US website finally has the FZ8 listed, so I decided to stop by the dealership to check it out. Turns out it won't be out on the floor until December but the dealer offered the 2010 FZ1 for $8900 versus the FZ8 for $8500. He also looked at my steed and...

Iphone & Android users: post your top 5 APPs

Bryan, I gotta try Paper Toss, sounds interesting. I have Angry birds on my for my son, similar concept. You have to use "angry birds" as ammo for your slingshot (angles) to hit some pigs hiding under some covers.

Iphone & Android users: post your top 5 APPs

Moto Droid DriveSafe.ly, allows for incoming SMS to read out loud without accessing message apps (great when riding especially when I'm on call) AutoAnswer, self explanatory, same reason as above Car Home, accesses Nav, phone, voice search, contacts, music and maps ICE, just in case...

    Waving at Motorcycle Cops

Mixed reviews here, some wave others don't. I just like to acknowledge a fellow biker, cop or no cop. With that said, with cops I like to just give them a nod and not really wave. Like others have mentioned, I don't want to seem too suspicious. But really, for me it just feels geeky for me...

Paddock Girls: AirAsia British Grand Prix!!!

True, but not everyone can afford a car to drive or they simply prefer to walk. So many things you can miss by driving through a town rather than walking through it. Which is why many inner city dwellers have no drivers license or a car. Since I've moved back to the "burbs" I miss walking the...

Paddock Girls: AirAsia British Grand Prix!!!

Umbrellas in the Philippines were used for hot/sunny days and not simply for cold/rainy days. It makes perfect sense to walk to your destination with a shade with you rather than without one. Only here in the States that people see it as "unusual" to say the least.

    Uncontrolled intersections in China

a bunch of morons :BLAA: WTF, nobody's paying attention to where they're going. Seems like everyone is under the impression that it's their right of way despite the bigger vehicle about to hit their puny bicycles. My absolute favorite is the idiot standing in the middle of the road and the...

    mounting a skid plate

Do you currently have a belly pan? If so, why not removed the plastic while leaving the mounting brackets as a guide in making a cardboard template of a skidplate. It's a start and if everything goes well maybe you can go into mass production. What tyres are you using for off roading?
