Bought some vinyl decals from Immortalgraphix.com, love them but concerned about wear. Anybody done a home clearcoating job on their tank? Thought about taping off around decals and spraying a few layers...would spare the rest of the tank if I screwed it up. Your thoughts? Will post pics...

August in Louisiana is hellish. I ride anyway, but sometimes ATGATT goes out the window. I apologize profusely. Even the vented mesh jacket is a killer at 100+ degrees and 90 percent humidity. Still keep the full face lid though. Prefer mid-60's to mid-70's. With gear.
