Need Help, where to buy FAZR6 fender eliminator kit?

I just searched for "FZ6 fender eliminator" and went through the first 300 results that came up. None of them are what FAZR6 used to make. BTW, if you end up getting one of the metal FE's on eBay, avoid the ones that have FZ6 stamped into them. They've removed too much metal. Mine cracked...

Need Help, where to buy FAZR6 fender eliminator kit?

I don't think FAZR6 had sold them for some time. I bought mine from eBay user 3679larry; but it doesn't appear he has any for sale at this moment. Sorry, no help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    H4 LED lights question

I love mine, glad I installed them. And it wasn't that much money- spent $75 US total for a pair of H7's and a pair of H4's. Can't speak for your OSRAM's, don't know what they are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    H4 LED lights question

No, you don't need to match the wattage. But stick to something equal or less to your halogen rating IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    H4 LED lights question

Make sure the rating isn't for two bulbs. If they're sold in pairs they usually combine the wattage. The H4 I bought is below; listed as 80W, but they use 40W each. If the rating is 60W or 100W for just one bulb, that seems excessive. Most h4 halogens use about 65W. Sent from my iPhone...

How many of us FZ6 owners bought their bikes from the showroom?

Craig's List. Third owner, purchased in January 2012. Bike started its life in Scottsdale, AZ. Somehow ended up in Delaware and then PA, where I bought it off a teenager with minor right side damage for $2500 (Had ~10K miles). Now has over 37K miles. I keep looking at new FJ-09's at...

    LED Headlights

FinalImpact bought them first, you can see his write up in this thread, starting at post #85: 08 FZ6 Condensed Build thread ~Final Impact~ Bought the front and rear signals from flea-bay. Not available in the U.S. for some reason; all UK sellers it seems. They are pricey at around $100...

    LED Headlights

Thanks Cliff. I read your thread about the headlights prior to taking the plunge. Good review! I don't ride much at night either... Only dark experience so far has been very early mornings prior to sunrise. Unlike your experience I really don't notice them lighting the ground in front too...

    LED Headlights

I recently upgraded my turn signals to the Yamaha LED Blinker Plus lights (Thanks FinalImpact !). I love the look, but wasn't thrilled with how different the blu-ish white LED's were compared to my yellow-ish halogen headlamps. So I did a bit of research and bought a pair of LED H4's...

New upper fairing on old FZ6?

The fairings are out there. Just look at the link from the previous post above. I'm not saying DON'T try to fit an S2 fairing, but you stated you couldn't even find an S1 to use. I have an '05 that I bought with a cracked main fairing 5 years ago, finally bought a replacement from Partzilla...

"Zen and the Art of MC Mx" author passes

A friend told me about this book years ago; I tried to read it back then and just couldn't get into it...thought it was supposed to be about motorcycles, but as you said is more philosophical. When I read that he passed I figured I'd give it another shot - ordered a $4 copy on Amazon just now.

I like it! You should list the crash bar and highway pegs here so others can copy your setup (me). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Does anyone have a stock fender for sale out there?

Thinking a little more about this...I assumed you were asking about the fender/tire hugger... But then realized you might be talking about the part coming out of the tail? The one most of us 'eliminate'? If so I'll gladly send you mine, just pay postage: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    top rack for 04

I don't have one to sell you, but I can tell you the link below is an inexpensive solution. I've been using mine for 4 years and counting. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JTF0YF8/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_x_COzYyb5M6SX0Z Edit: My apologies- misunderstood and thought you were looking for a top case.

I imagine with an LED turn signal that 1A would be plenty, but yeah I hear you. Your solution has a better fail mode, less expensive, and has your name on it instead of Oznium's! Win-Win-Win.

    08 FZ6 Condensed Build thread ~Final Impact~

Nice job! Nothing more satisfying than designing and building your own solution. There is a pre-engineered "switchback driver" circuit for just this idea, if you're interested. Turns off DRL while turn signal is active, restores DRL 2 seconds after turn signal goes away. IP67 waterproof...

I don't think it's an issue. Signal is very evident even when DRL on.... 99BA64A7-0FC1-4192-89BD-4CE1A5D6719B_zpsgpfvdesl.mp4 Video by ohendo | Photobucket Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Wouldn't the DRL only be interrupted during the off portion of the signal? Thinking you'd get an alternating DRL-Flasher-DRL-Flasher display. Unless you grab the signal wire before the flasher relay..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
