Given the skills and equipment most of those guys have, I'd bet they know about closed tracks.

Interested to hear how they perform. I have Shinkos on my fz6 because they were cheap and I'm cheap, but I'm pretty sure they look different than those. If they handle decently it could be an upgrade.

When my pressure is too low the bike feels like it's falling over when I try to turn. :eek: I guess when worse comes to worst you'll know when it needs air!

You should probably sell your old Madstad screen to a certain bear then. ;) Those FJRs certainly do look impressive...Talked to a guy with a new one and they more or less seem like FZ13's with touring gear to me. (That's a good thing!)

How do you check for wear? Just look for the cable fraying near the places where it bends on its path to the clutch? I would add to the rest: Be sure to have water proof gear on hand. I did ~1680 miles both ways to TX recently and got hailed on somewhere in Louisiana / west Texas.
