So glad you're ok Martin - all down to the expertise of the rider! I refuse to ride to work on my bike because of bloody idiots on the road. I live rural so drive into town with lights on all the time. They don't see me in my car. Seriously - I drive a V6 with headlights on ALL the time...

Main thing is you are ok - your bike can be repaired. As for the video, you don't need a lecture from me - I think you know what went wrong and maybe how you'd approach the same situation differently next time. BTW, your opening credits were fantastic LOL

Better to get there late, than not at all..... An oldie but it still rings VERY true. Being late is just not worth your life :(

Yep, we have Dan Murphy's - don't go there much these days as Mike does home brew (he's actually getting very good at it!...) Also spoilt because I live just outside the Swan Valley - amazing wine region in Perth - so we can just pop down the road to a winery and buy a great bottle :)
