I find working on motos incredibly easy and can complete repairs in the time it would take to just travel to and from a shop. I order parts from Amazon as they are way cheaper than a dealer and with Prime membership delivery is free.

Never mind as this is getting off topic. I have had three bikes stolen of various model and customizations and always carry the extra insurance to cover the mods as its only a few dollars a month.

What's easy to say when it has not been stolen? Who says I have not had a bike stolen? My last bike was badass and was a magazine built bike but the bastards cut the chain a stole it. Never expect to get money for mods back when sold.

Who cares what other think....if you wanna mod your ride than do it.......if not then don't. Do what gives you the most SPM (smiles per mile) and makes the daddy parts stiff.

I agree try to sell it yourself. MODs don't make a bike worth anymore money UNLESS you can find a buyer who can appreciate what you have done to the moto then you might get a few dollars more. Sell it yourself then buy the new moto as it will always be there unless you want it NOW then trade it...
