    Project: Morimoto HID Retrofit

That would be great if you could do that. I didn't think these projectors fit in the housing with the reflectors in there.

    What er these connectors for?

Thanks.... ;) No, they are not for turn signals. Turn signal plugs are right behind them in grey and black. I don't remember these two particular plugs on mine, but I now have a jungle of wires running in there because of my additions, so I may have just tuck them behind something. At any...

    Project: Morimoto HID Retrofit

That would be very nice. I am contemplating same mod using the same projectors as well. It would be nice to know all the road blocks in advance. And yes, headlight assemblies are identical 04-09 bikes (for the faired North American versions, disclaimer for those you at other part of the...

    Different radiator fan design?

Same thing happen to me as well when I first got my bike. It took two fuses to figure out the fan was jammed. :) Interesting part is fan burned out before the fuse blew which sort of beats the purpose of having the fuse IMO. It took three weeks for the dealer to fix it under warranty. I am...

    Project: Morimoto HID Retrofit

I believe Yellow/Black wire for high beam + Black wire for high beam - You can check this by hooking up a voltmeter to it.

    Getting tank off

It is held by two bolts in the front of the tank. However, you may have to take inner fairing pieces that are near the front of the tank and your seat to make it easy on you. Once you take those two bolts off, just lifted up and hold it up with a bungee cord that is hooked up to the back of...

    Strange stalling problem on 2008

Well, as mysteriously as the problem arrived, it disappeared the same way. Last couple of days, I did not experience any stalling problems at all. It seems to be behaving normally now at all temperature ranges. As much as I like to blame the battery connection, I don't think it was loose...

    Any IT PMs out there???

"Acceptance criteria" will be different depending on which part of the project you are on. If you are looking for acceptance criteria at the end of the project, for example, it is mapping and demonstration of implemented functionality to the requirements you came up with it at the beginning...

    Strange stalling problem on 2008

It has been raining and cool last couple of days so I haven't done anything with the bike until tonight. I took it apart and went through everything again and all seemed fine except for ground battery connection that was just a little loose. :spank: Retighted it up and put everything back...

Someone recommend a point and shoot camera to me

+1 Olympus Stylus Tough series. Good pictures, waterproof, and nearly indestructible. I have cool underwater whale picture I took with that camera. Remind me to show them to you next time you are over. :)

    My new "sub-dashboard"

Very nice. As for drilling on the plastic, I agree on the using slower speed for drilling especially when you first start it up, also looking into drill bits that are just for plastic (they are very sharp). Around here hobby shops (model train, car) have them, so you can check that out...

    Strange stalling problem on 2008

I guess it is time to take the bike apart again. Maybe I accidently yank something while I was changing the battery and did not notice it so I am getting intermediate connections on ECU leads. Hehehe... Yes, having fully charged battery is the trick. :) I was trying just that when I killed...

Irish Rider moving to PA. Should I bring my bike?

As couple of posters earlier said, before trying to bring your bike in, make sure it meets US specs. Some do, but, many don't (even US bikes that are exported). If you can easily verify that it meets US specs (it will have a sticker on it from the manufacturer that says so), bring it over...
