Finally got around to snapping a few photos of the GoPro mount: The camera gets pretty hot, but not nearly as hot as it did when I had the thing stuck straight to the engine block! Seems like everything performs fine regardless of the heat. I apologize for how dirty my bike is right now...

That's not outrageous for this area -- bikes generally go a couple hundred above KBB retail here. It really depends on your local market. Here, that would be a good price, and if he was flexible, it could be a great price.

I voted for the 2009. Simply because I'd imagine $2000 worth of paint and mods should easily make it the better option. Watch ebay for the parts from 2010 that you prefer, or simply find aftermarket options that are even better still. When you've got it looking and handling the way you want...

Thanks all! @Erci - I checked the chain slack to make sure it was within the recommended range (it was), but I don't have a center stand on the bike so I can't be sure I got all of the slack out before measuring. Today I'll put it on a block or something to get the weight off the rear wheel...
