    Tidying up the back end

Tidied it up Cheers for the advice. I decided to go with a custom bracket in the end, coming down between the pipes and connecting to the original plastic bitty. Australia seems a good place to have a numberplate as they're so small here -bit more convenient than the A4 sized thing I used to...

Acuman Digi Gear - Easy Mod

Fitted - brilliant - love it!! Top write up mate, well impressed! Don't know if i was being slow, but the job took me about 3 hours this evening, though I reckon 1 of those hours was trying to get the b*ggers of fuel tank connectors off :) Also, I had two black with brown dots wires on my...

Hey mate, I looked at those, but they're a completely different set up - different wishbone swingarm :( Phil

    Rear hugger / chain guard

Hey, does anyone know if there is a shortened hugger available, or a separate chain guard (i.e. no hugger). Cheer, Phil

Buying a back protector. What to keep in mind?

I've always thought the seperate Dainese back protectors (worn like a back pack) were the pick of the bunch. Though personally I'd only use it for the track - $200 well spent.

    FZ6 at the track

Track days rock! I've done one so far and the bike is far more repsonsive as a result - they love to rev!! I bought a cheap camera mount from ebay for A$50 (US$40?) - simple bracket, no angle adjustment, but does the job just fine. Great results and it picks up the exhaust note well too :) Phil

    Tidying up the back end

Yeah that would be an advantage. I suppose I could get the original bolt hole plate welded onto my exhausts.... but I don't think so. This weekend and a meccano kit should see me right! I'll try and post pics of the result. Phil

    New member welcome thread..

Hello from a Pom in Sydney! I bought an 07 S2 in black on payday last September :) Great bike, very happy, only 2300kms so far. Best thing I ever did for the bike was to take it to the track (Eastern Creek). I cannot reccomend this highly enough - our engines are designed to rev rev rev which...

    Motoport Police Kevlar Pants Review

Draggin jeans (cheap version) I got a pair of dark blue denim draggins for Christmas, 36" waist. However, the waist was baggy and the legs crazy tight, so no win there. I started looking around and struggled to find anything as comfy as my normal street jeans. I reckon the draggin combats...

What exhaust do you have on your FZ6?

    S2 cans

I fitted a set of Carbon Can Co pipes from a 2004 FZ6 to my 2007 S2. They went straight on - no problems at all with the cat or pipework. Very happy! Incidentally, in Oz and there are very, very few FZ6 parts on ebay. I ended up buying the pipes off a UK ebay seller and shipping them out...

    Tidying up the back end

Hey everyone, Has anyone fitted after market pipes and a tail tidy to their bike? If so, what do you do about the piece of shaped plastic that extends down between the pipes - Leave in place or cut off? Also, what have you used for mounting the tail tidy, as the bolt holes go with the stock...
