Sounds like it's starving for fuel. Could be the fuel pump is failing. Could be the fuel filter is clogged. It could also be the (TPS) throttle control sensor. You can look at the TPS through the diagnostics to see if it's skipping. IIRC the values for the TPS are 16 to 100.

A reading between 15-16 is in the normal range. The wiper is just between windings. When you check the TPS you should open the throttle and let it “snap” back to closed throttle - and then take the reading.

Diag mode shows linear changes with different throttle input, wouldn’t that mean the ECU is receiving the input?

If the ECU wasn't getting data from the TPS, it wouldn't know to operate the injectors. You may be looking at a bad ECU... :( Cliff? @Motogiro .
