I usually wave to every rider. I used to not wave to scooters but now days they make some big scooters it's hard to tell at speed. It's probably 50-50 Harley riders waving back to me anyway.

The lodge was just like the Oregon Caves. No phone or cell service and no TV. Kind of refreshing. There was WIFI however.

Yes Crater Lake is one of mother natures wonders of the world. Very spectacular I would recommend it to anyone who can make the trip, motorcycle or not. I would also recommend doing two days there as there is so much to take in and lots of great short or long hikes. Anyone in to bicycles there...

Thanks I could have used a bike like that this past weekend. Rode 800 miles on my FZ6 and found it's not the greatest for long distance riding.
