Very cute bike indeed. I got to sit on one, but unfortunately wasn't able to take one for a spin. Very very similar to Ninja 300, which I've ridden few times and liked very much. I'd love to see how R3 compares, riding-wise.

Yup, that's the #1 reason to get adjustable levers for FZ6. You can move the clutch side very close to the bar.. so much easier on the fingers! I used cheap shortie levers from the2wheels. They worked perfectly. I've been using the same levers on FZ1 for over 3 years now (long version though...

True, but typically only for expert groups. For novice they usually have no issues with running basically stock bikes.. just gotta tape lenses off.

Really tough question. People get bikes for different reasons.. to use on track, to use on street, to turn heads.. etc. It's also hard to pick something without knowing how it rides, so I'll pick from the list of ones I've ridden: Ducati 848, R6, R1 (2014), GSXR600, GSXR1000, ZX6R, ZX10R...

Glad you're OK! Could be many reason why the rear gave out. - You were way on the outside. Is it possible that no one has ridden that line and there was oil / rubber on that part of the track? - If your rear shock is stock, there's a very good chance it couldn't cope with demands of track...

Obviously there's no "best", because it's a matter of taste. What sounds great to me may not sound good to you. It would probably be easier to get a clearer answer if you asked for things loud "loudest" or "deepest".. Having said that, the following 3 are my favorite: 1. 2Bros: Deepest...

Can't give you exact figures, since I'm at work right now.. not that it'll help a great deal since my R6 fork is on... R6.. on and mine's 05, so the fork is inverted, but here's what I'm fairly certain about: If your preload is screwed in to show 3 lines and your rebound is backed all the way...

+1 to what others said. R3 is cute and all, but for track use you can get something that's already set up for less money. Heck, old stock R6 would still be better.. more adjustable and likely firmer sprung.

Main reason I would go with r6s is because it's more forgiving. 6r is a scalpel. Save the money on bike and use it to do more track days.
