Hey, Scott! FZ6 has been gone for many years, but the guy I sold it to still has it. I rode FZ1 for several years, but when the Mrs and I started doing a lot more 2up riding, I sold FZ1 and got FJR. I do miss my FZ1 now and then. It was so simple and fun!

Funny.. I'm actually considering a bike like that. I did like Vstrom 1000, last time I demo'd it. Need to ride it again to make sure it's "enough", after getting used to 2015 FJR (very unslow :D ) Thinking adventure bike may extend my riding season by at least few days (I'll take anything I can...

I've gone through Metz Z8s, Pilot Road2s and am now on BT23s. Pilot Road2s are by far my favorite for non-track use. Would not hesitate to go to PR4 if PR2 was not available.

Few minutes from my lunch ride. Pretty much all of the roads around me are like this. One of the reasons I moved here :) Oh and the ride up the driveway at the end.. FJR with sport touring tires is definitely not the best tool for the job :| http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRF0O68UCEE
