Threadus resurrectus!! :D
Since I've last posted in this thread, yeast and I have become great friends (bread and pizza). Started making fresh pasta too (love it!!) .. and I'll throw in some dessert for good measure :)
Hey, Scott! FZ6 has been gone for many years, but the guy I sold it to still has it.
I rode FZ1 for several years, but when the Mrs and I started doing a lot more 2up riding, I sold FZ1 and got FJR.
I do miss my FZ1 now and then. It was so simple and fun!
Funny.. I'm actually considering a bike like that. I did like Vstrom 1000, last time I demo'd it. Need to ride it again to make sure it's "enough", after getting used to 2015 FJR (very unslow :D )
Thinking adventure bike may extend my riding season by at least few days (I'll take anything I can...
.. since I last signed on, lol. Good to see many of the old timers are still around. At a glance, still looks like the best moto-forum out there. Any must-reads for entertainment?
P.S. VT may not be the best state to live in, if you really love to be on 2 wheels. Longest.. Winter... EVER!
I've gone through Metz Z8s, Pilot Road2s and am now on BT23s.
Pilot Road2s are by far my favorite for non-track use. Would not hesitate to go to PR4 if PR2 was not available.
Few minutes from my lunch ride. Pretty much all of the roads around me are like this. One of the reasons I moved here :)
Oh and the ride up the driveway at the end.. FJR with sport touring tires is definitely not the best tool for the job :|

Thanks, everyone!! Had a great day.. but really every day has been amazing in VT so far :D
Loads to do, so not on here a lot, but things will settle down eventually.. I think.
Gonna be busy for a while!! SO much to do, but this is very exciting! Puts me within 20 minutes of my favorite snowboard / mountain bike location! Lots of twisty roads in the area too
