Just FYI.. about 3.5 years ago I sold my mostly mint 2007 FZ6 for $3500 with I think 11k miles on it (it was converted to streetfighter.. which forced me to sell it for a bit less) and picked up a mint 07 FZ1 with 8.5k miles on it for 5k. We're not exactly talking about a major expenditure...

I've ridden lots of v-twins at this point. I find Victory to be extra harsh and clunky compared to others (Indian, suzuki for instance). I do like them all in all.

R6: I'll just use a bunch of adjectives to *review* this one: torture, pain, discomfort, insane-to-use-on-street.. scalpel, precision, begs-to-be-ridden-on-track. GSXR1000 After R6, this felt shockingly comfortable. Love the power of liter super sport too.. way better for street...

Normal then. Make sure you set the tightness correctly. Tight chain is worse than one that is slightly too loose (but ideally you want it to be just right).

Suzuki is the only company to include a short stretch of highway on their demo. I'll add VMAX to the list. I doubt it'll *shock* me.. having ridden Busa and ZX14. Busa puts out 100 foot pounds and 160+hp and weighs about 550 wet. Either way.. looking forward to it :thumbup:

It's normal for the chain to rub on top of the swingarm if the bike is on center stand. With your weight on the bike, it shouldn't be touching anymore. So.. clear it up for us: were you checking on center stand?
