I want to replace my spark plugs

It's even worse on an 05, at least on an 07, there is more of a gap between the radiator making it easier to swap out the plugs. This increase in gap had consequences though, many got small pieces of gravel stuck in their radiator fan causing it to stop working. Never an issue with the older...

    Oem naked headlight conversion

Yes, but since it's new and never been installed, wasn't sure which year it was for.

    Oem naked headlight conversion

I'm planning to go naked soon, curios how hard it is to do this mod. Might be interested if the buyer backs out on there OBO.

    Heads-up display for helmets

Very impressed with your technical skills. Personally, just my opinion, I think HUD is a distraction for riders, but I'm old school. Riding is much different than driving. But again, it is also very important for the rider to be keeping their head and eyes up! Rather than focusing on speed...

    Vegas Mechanics

Is your engine ticking? It came to a point my bike would die and never start again. I had a major issue with my CCT and I also ended up with a stretched cam chain. Had to get all the parts replaced and had my valves checked at the same time and had my plugs replaced too, I think I paid around...

    Motorcycle Helmet Buyer’s Guide

Just like most tires, there is a date stamp of when you're helmet was manufactured too.

    Vegas Mechanics

When I lived in Vegas, I had my bike serviced exclusively at Racer's Edge. Service ranged from tire replacement, fork springs, steering head replacements, etc. It's an independent shop and I believe Dale, the owner is a track instructor for Yamaha. I haven't lived there since 2012 so not sure...

Bakersfield Ca, just keep on driving! But there a lot of options there for lodging.

    Family holiday to the states

Where are you staying in Vegas and when exactly are you going to be there? March is a very busy month for that city. That city has change sooooo much in just 4-5 years and not all for the better. Most of the major strip resorts charge for parking, use to be free. A city where you could find...

    Family holiday to the states

Helicopter ride out of Vegas to the Grand Canyon is the best, but very pricey but well worth it in my opinion. Depending on which tour package you purchase, it can even include the Skywalk, or have a champagne lunch at the bottom of the canyon or even take a short boat ride up and down the...

AGF is out of action for a bit

Damn, that is a major repair. Please check back and keep us posted. Had a coworker who had similar surgery, surgery was planned but then turned into emergency like now! He's back at work. Best wishes from the states.

    Yamihoe went Down

Thank goodness you are healed up and kudos to you for getting back on the saddle. T boning a SUV is not a considered a Hall of Shame, call it lucky and surviving. For the driver, hope the woman spends some time in the pit of misery. Dilly, Dilly. Please be careful out there, do not assume...

    Sport tires in the wet?

The best rain performance tires that I know of, and proven has been the Michelin's Pilot Road 4's. I'm on my 2nd set. But I hear that they have now come out with the Road 5's, outperforming the 4's!

    Pilot Road 4 Running blog/review

I put on a set on my Multi last year, managed to get 8k miles on the front. It was worn pretty good. I always wear out my fronts first, even on the FZ. I still have the rear and it's at 9k miles. My bike weighs over 500 lbs and has 150hp so I'm definitely not getting the same miles as you guys.
