for SALE: M4 Carbon Fiber slip on EXHAUST

If it fit your 05, it won't fit mine. The angle and length of the cat pipe is different. I just went through this with a new exhaust I had to return since they thought it fit all years.

Damn. If it would fit my 07 I would be all over it.

for SALE: M4 Carbon Fiber slip on EXHAUST

What year of bike did these come off of?

Not sure what exhaust to get.

It has to do with how the cat pipe is angled. The earlier bikes have a 45° angle while the s2 is much sharper. The canisters are the same.

Not sure what exhaust to get.

They will not fit. They are boxed up, ready to return. They will send me a new set when they get the old ones back if I want. The moral of the story: There are no pipes that will fit 04-09. Make sure you are getting the right pipes!

Not sure what exhaust to get.

Scorpion has separate part numbers for s1 and s2 though. I will see when it shows up today, but I have a feeling I might be sending it back.

Not sure what exhaust to get.

My exhaust shipped, but I'm a bit worried. Their site said it fits 04-09 bikes. The part number on their site is for an 04-06, mine is an 07. Do these kits come with pipes to fit both, or am I screwed?

Not sure what exhaust to get.

FWIW, 58 cycle has the stainless cans on sale for 550. I got my regular vendor to price match them and I have a set on the way.

What chain lube/wax for long tips?

I am going to be taking a trip on my bike later this summer. A couple of the days will be over 500 miles. What does everyone suggest for a long lasting chain lube or wax? I plan on relubing the chain at the end of the day, but not angry more often so it has a chance to dry. It would also be nice...

Next bike? What it would be?

Hoping to have the money saved up to buy one next spring. I plan on keeping the fz6 for a daily rider. http://images.yamahamotorsports.com/img.jpg?id=26760&w=640

    Full System?

I don't believe anyone makes a full system. You would probably have to make an r6 header fit. If you go to Finalimpact build thread, he put a header from an earlier fz6 with no cats built in, a carless midpipe, and a set of slipons.

    R1 rearsets

So I was reading on hrheim's build in the streetfighter area and seen he added R1 rearsets. I am interested in doing this as well. I understand they need to be squeezed a little bit to fit our spacing, but was wondering what else is needed to be done. I couldn't tell by the pictures, but what is...

    Shopping for R6 forks

Good to know. Galfer are what I am looking at. I was planning on upgrading anyways, but it makes sense to do it all at once.

    Shopping for R6 forks

Why do the braided lines need to be from an 04-06 as opposed to an S2?

    Shopping for R6 forks

Do we need an r6 axle or will the fz axle work?

Renting vs buying racesuit, what would you do?

Its always good I'd you have an option to try it on before you buy.

Renting vs buying racesuit, what would you do?

Another good thing to do is look on all the sites at their closeouts. With the exceptions of my boots, everything I have bought has been on closeout. As has been said before, buy the best you can afford. Yes, good gear is expensive. I don't know your situation, but I have young kids, and...

Renting vs buying racesuit, what would you do?

Gear is always the best investment for riding. A good leather suit like that good save you its price several times over in medical bills. If you don't really plan on going to the track, maybe buy a two piece suit? Also make sure you include a good back protector in there too! Even a higher...
