I just checked by ironing one of the patches onto a cotton shirt - I'd say it behaves like an iron on, but i don't think it's sufficient in "grip" After cooling down the patch stayed on the shirt, but the amount of force I had to apply to peel it off wasn't that great, so I probably wouldn't...

Glad you like it. Every order detail says that it's a not an iron-on backing, but I think I may try one tomorrow and see what happens - with all the disorganization around the order - i wouldnt be surprised if they did make it an iron-on.
