Yet more reason to avoid paying for labour where you can! I got raped on labour when they rebuilt the TRX motor...but i was stuck in a position, where i could only do so much of it in my shed... Labour cost was over half the bill for engine re-build, and at least one of the labour amounts was...

Yep! And yet another reason to just do it yourself! My last set of chain and sprockets, cost me just over $220...X ring DID chain, Renthal rear sprocket, Sunstar front sprocket(OEM). All bought online for big saving over local retail. :thumbup:

You need the fuel injection unit from an R6 too....the R6 Fuel injection unit is much different to the FZ6 unit. You would also need to re-route the exhaust headers, and fabricate a link pipe, to make FZ6 mufflers fit to R6 headers... And yes, the motor mounts in different places...Am...

Especially if your in your early 20's, god when i had bikes in my early 20's, i used to think my bike, no matter how crap it was, was the most awesome thing ever...and i had some crap bikes in my early 20's... well there is one thing for sure, my bike dont look like any other bike, no matter...

Ok, a couple of weekends ago, i was out riding my highly modified, very much visually individual FZ6 fighter, when i stopped at a Supermarket to get some gaspers! Anyway, i park the bike, go get the cancer sticks, and return to my bike, to find a lad who looked to be in his early twenties...

It's a massively expensive job to put a big bore kit on an FZ6....cause you do have to get the bores nikasil lined... I spent many many hours researching this, and have been so close to going down this road... If i do, it costs $1000 US just to get the bores sorted with the lining...that's...

Yep, the reality is that Internet shipping is so much cheaper these days! It will be the death of many uncompetitive local retail outlets! :(
