Buy some Posi Tap connectors, no stripping or cutting any of the wires on the bike. Then, buy some hyperlites, super bright and come in a variety of flash/non flash configurations. A little pricey but they come with a pack of posi tap connectors already.

You should realllllly consider putting new tires on that, those are at least 7 years old now and that's assuming the tires were manufactured the year the bike was made... which they probably weren't. Check to date code on them, wearing out a tire with regards to how much tread it visibly has...

Have you inspected the actual kill switch? its a known fault on the FZ6 when used frequently and its talked about a lot on here, try overriding it by connecting the wires before the switch... if that solves your problem you can either try and find a new switch, rebuild the one you have, or leave...
